A homicide investigation continues in Sedalia after a 76-year-old woman is found stabbed to death. The Mid-Missouri Major Case Squad is now activated. The woman was discovered dead in her home Tuesday by her home health care aide. Sedalia police found signs of forced entry into the victim’s home and a bedroom was disturbed. The home health care worker had worked for the woman for five weeks and was also a neighbor.
