Due to an explosion in Iraq that almost killed SSG Robert Canine he was left with life altering injuries.  Read his story below and what he is trying to achieve for future Veterans. 

Hello all,

I hope everyone is ready for Christmas. I am very much looking forward to spending time with my family this year. I was in Iraq last year and missed Christmas. If you have been following my story then you know I almost missed this one too, due to an explosion in Iraq that almost killed me and left me with life altering injuries.

I have sent out several emails already about my mission to raise money for Homes For Our Troops. This mission is so important to me. I am asking for support from you all to help me accomplish my goal.

 

My son Sebastian and I have made a video to try and help explain our story better and help everyone understand what a specially adapted home means to a veteran with no arms or legs.

I am asking again that you check out the team fund raiser page, view the short video, and forward this email to everyone. I have made a few changes to the team page. My email list is growing, but I dont have enough people to be able to reach my goal yet.
