Officers have captured a 16-year-old boy with a gun, who caused the Sweet Springs School District to go into lockdown Thursday.
Sheriff Wally George says they caught the teen at about midnight with the firearm. He is now in custody.
Sheriff George says the Sweet Springs school, and a nearby hospital and nursing home, were all on lockdown starting at about 8:00 a.m. yesterday.
