Thanks to a tip, MU police arrest 2 students for a hate crime outside the University’s Black Culture Center. 19 year old Sean Fitzgerald and 21 year old Zachary Tucker are arrested for tampering in connection with hate crime laws. Fitzgerald is a freshman, Tucker is a senior. Cotton balls were discovered last Friday on the front lawn of MU’s Black Culture Center. University Chancellor Brady Deaton says, based on the University’s student code of conduct, temporarily suspending Fitzgerald and Tucker is in the school’s best interest.
I think the black community needs to get a grip on reality! I’m not condoning what these idiots did, but I also think that the black community is going overboard. I’m 3 hours from an area of Iraq where Christians are being SLAUGHTERED, simply because they are Christians. A priest was kidnapped and being held for a $100,000 ransom and the black community is worried about some cotton balls? Give me a brake!
I know I am naive, but what is the connotation of ‘cotton balls’? Is it because they are white?
