Auxvasse city officials said Thursday they were able to hook up to a secondary source pf water out of Callaway County, that should meet their water needs for the time being. Meanwhile crews continue to work on the pump system that failed, and caused the city’s water crunch in the first place. The city clerk did not give a time frame for that system to get back on line, but did ask residents to continue to conserve water when possible.
