A Blue Springs man was assaulted and robbed late last night in Boone County.
Three men wearing hoodies and bandanas demanded property from a 22-year-old Blue Springs man visiting friends near Rocky Fork Drive and Maple Court just north of Columbia. He refused to give anything up, so the suspects assaulted him, took what they wanted, and left.
The victim was taken to a hospital, but he has been released.
