A murder trial starts up for a Hallsville man accused of gunning down his ex-brother-in-law in broad daylight on a McDonald’s parking lot. 39 year old William clinch is charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action for the death of 32 year old Jeremy Bohannon of Rocheport who was shot several times two years ago at the McDonald’s on Clark Lane in Columbia. Bohannon was showing up for a scheduled visit with his children although they hadn’t yet arrived. A Lafayette County jury will be brought to Boone County. Clinch’s sister, the ex-wife had divorced Bohannon 2 months before the shooting.
