The “Bucket List Bandit” meets the end of the line.
An FBI agent in Pennsylvania says 54-year-old Michael Eugene Brewster was arrested Thursday night in Roland, Oklahoma, near the Arkansas border. He’s suspected in a string of bank robberies in nine states, including Columbia’s Landmark Bank on Stadium Drive in late August. The most recent was a heist in Erie, Pennsylvania on Monday.
Brewster got his nickname after telling a Utah bank teller he had only four months to live. He is charged with the Pennsylvania robbery, but not the one in Columbia yet.
