The building at Glendale farms ignited Wednesday afternoon. There were over 300 bales of hay and farm equipment inside.

No one was injured, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.

The estimated damage from the fire is 300,000 dollars.

Services are taking place at the Fire Fighters memorial of Missouri in Kingdom City to honor Missouri firefighters.

The first is a candlelight vigil at 8:30 Saturday night…then the names of three deceased firefighters will be added to the monument wall at 10:30 Sunday morning.

The names are Richard Paul of the Kansas City Fire Department; Les Clark of the Dixon Rural Fire Protection District; and Henry Branscum of Northeast R-4 Rural Fire Association.

28 year old Brandon Chase appeared in court Wednesday for a hearing, but because of confusion in the public defenders office, it was pushed off until May 30^th.

Chase is one of three suspects charged in the April 22^nd shooting death of Keith Mosley.

25 year old Tracy Session and 20 year old Khiry Summers are also charged in the case.  They are due to appear in court next week for arraignment.

And it seems Skechers running shoes do not necessarily slim and tone certain portions of your body just by wearing them.

Attorney General Chris Koster saysMissouri is one of many states that are included in a settlement with Skechers.

The states say the shoe company can not back up their claims on what the shoes are supposed to do.

Ameren says utility customers in several states, including Ameren customers in Missouri, are being falsely told that the federal government will provide a credit or directly pay utility bills. The scammers seek the customer’s Social Security number as part of the fraudulent effort to obtain the credit or payment.

Ameren says scammers have visited some customers in person, posted fliers or used social media and texting. The company has identified some accounts that have been victimized by the scam.

Ameren provides utility services to much of mid-Missouri.

Sixty one year old Jay Macvittie, was transported to a Columbia hospital after a vehicle driven by sixty eight year old John McCray from Fulton rear ended him while he was waiting to turn on Route J in Callaway County.

Macvittie was taken to a Columbia hospital by helicopter with serious injuries.

The fire broke out Monday at a home on North Fifth Street. Assistant Fire Marshall Tim Bach says smoking materials are to blame. It looks like they were thrown into a combustible container before being completely out.

A man walking by helped the elderly resident out of his home. While both suffered smoke inhalation, neither had to be taken to the hospital.

Kendra McClain (pictured) now faces assault and unlawful use of a weapon charges following an incident yesterday afternoon. Witnesses say McClain got into a confrontation with a man and fired one shot at him.

No one was hurt.

Backup quarterback Corbin Berkstresser is arrested after hitting a parked car inColumbia.  Police say the crash happened early Tuesday morning onLynwood Drive.

The car had damage to the back and front passenger side.  No one was hurt.

Berkstresser then left the scene.  He was later arrested for leaving the scene of an accident which is a felony.

His bond was set at 45 hundred dollars.

Officers were called to the 3700 Block of Oakland Gravel Road Monday afternoon on a report of a shot being fired. The call came in a little before 1:30.

Witnesses say a woman fired at a man but missed. No one was hurt. Some sort of altercation happened before the gunshot was heard. Police think the two know each other but are still investigating the altercation.
