The event benefits Boys and Girls Club.Enjoy a live band and a silent auction. You can also be part of a raffle for a Weber Genesis Gas Grill (retail value $849).  The drawing will be  held Sept. 18th (you don’t need to be present to win).

BBQ-ers will also be taking orders for Tailgate parties for the Mizzou football game and preparing BBQ for anyone that would like to pick up a tailgate order prior to the game.

What: Debate beween Former MO State Rep. Ed Robb (R) and J. Scott Christianson (D) for Boone County Presiding Commissioner.  Then Columbia City Councilwoman Laura Nauswer (R) takes State rep. Chris Kelly(R) for the 24th District State Rep. seat.  Wakeup Columbia’s Tom Bradley will moderate and Mike Ferguson will do his show live from the Marriott the evening of the debate.

In thanking our Veterans for their service to our country, it is so important to make sure they get to visit our nation’s monument to them. You can adopt a soldier for just $300 to send them on the trip.  You could also volunteer as a chaperone during one of the Central Missouri Honor Flights.
