Children First for H1N1 Walk-In Clinic

The first walk-in clinic for H1N1 vaccinations will be offered Wednesday at the Columbia Boone County Health Department.Public information officer Geni Alexander says this clinic is for children 6 months to 4 years whose parents want them to receive the injectable vaccine or flumist.  The supply is limited.  For that reason, Alexander says the children’s walk-in clinic is for those families whose pediatrician won’t give the shots or for those families who can’t get in to see their doctor.  The clinic is at 1005 West Worley on Wednesday from 1pm to 5pm.
