While he’s a staunch opponent of same-sex marriage, Sen. John McCain’s wife isn’t. Cindy McCain has posed for ad urging voters to say “no” to California’s Proposition 8, which bans same-sex marriage. The gay-rights campaign is trying to defeat Prop 8 which, by most accounts, will be decided by the U.S. Supreme Court. Despite the public ads of his wife and daughter, John McCain remains firmly in favor of Prop 8, the ban on same-sex marriage.
Why are homosexual’s so hell bent on marriage? Marriage is a relgious institution and I’m sorry but if God wanted gays to marry he would have one sex that would just marry each other. Gays can have civil unions, what the heck is wrong with that?
Oh wait they want to make marriage more of a joke than it already is!
Cindy McCain is a progressive clown like her husband. Let the gays marry and give them their own reservation or state. Since they can’t reproduce it won’t take long for them to disappear.

Now, there is NOTHING wrong with having an opinion against this…Just as there is nothing wrong with having an opinion FOR it! But, you don’t have to be hateful–Wendy…let me get this straight…you think that marraige is already a ‘joke’??? Then why do you even care???
And, I might be mistaken….but didn’t the McCain’s daughter recently come out as being a homosexual? Maybe Cindy felt compelled to make a public statement reminding her daughter how much she supports and loves her, and sees her as an equal, considering that her father is constantly making public statements reminding her that he doesn’t. Just a thought.
I personally think that IF I WERE homosexual, I might be satisfied with the ‘civil union’…as long as it granted me the same legal rights as a heterosexual married couple….but I also do not believe that if same sex marraige is made legal, that it will threaten my heterosexual marraige in any way.
