If it seems to you like we’ve been talking about a lot of Columbia home invasion robberies lately…you’re right. The latest one happened just this morning, on Madison Street just south of the Business Loop. The two armed male suspects came in through the front door, stole some cash, and fled on foot. Officer Latisha Stroer says it’s the ninth home invasion robbery reported in town since August 2nd. She says it’s very rare to have that many in less than three months.
Stroer says the victims weren’t hurt during this most recent invasion. The suspects stole some cash, and got away. The search for them continues.
