The Columbia Police Department says they will have officers at most major I-70 ramps in the city before, during and after the Tigers football game. Police say they will have the ability to adjust traffic signals to keep things moving. They’ll also close a portion of Old Rt K at the West Outer Road of Providence on Saturday, September 1, 2012. The closure will happen from just south of the Bridge past the road to the MU Tennis Courts on Old Rt K to the north drive of Providence Hill Apartments. The plan is to close the road from 3 pm (3 hours before game time) through the duration of the game.
