Columbia Regional Airport Terminal May Get Re-Designed

Thanks to the University, Columbia Regional Airport gets some help with possible plans to renovate its terminal. Senior students in the University of Missouri’s architectural design program will share their ideas with airport officials and Columbia city council members on Tuesday.  Lately, traffic has picked up at the airport with resurgence with daily regional jet service on Delta Air Lines.  Columbia last had jet service a decade ago and until recently was served by a string of smaller, regional carriers.   An architecture professor calls the students’ design plans “very attainable and accessible.”
