Columbia Police are looking for the man responsible for a low-drama robbery at a downtown bank.
Officer Latisha Stroer says they first knew something was wrong at the Commerce Bank on Broadway just after 4:30 Thursday afternoon. When police got there, they learned a black male entered the bank and told the teller he was robbing it. He never showed a weapon or even suggested he had one, but the robber got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Nobody was hurt.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect or saw anything suspicious during the time of the robbery is urged to call Columbia Police or CrimeStoppers.
