Scales of Justice

The prisoner who overpowered a Pettis County sheriff’s deputy, commandeered his patrol car, and lead police on a chase last week, learns he’s facing several charges for the escapade. The Cooper County Prosector’s office says Ronald Greer will now be charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, escape from custody, stealing a motor vehicle, armed criminal action, tampering in the first degree, assault in the second degree and another charge of armed criminal action. Greer is being held on a $250,000 bond. No court date was set.
