A Jefferson City man dies in a Northeast Missouri wreck. Jason Wood, 40, was southbound on Highway 19 in Ralls County at about 3:00 p.m. yesterday, just south of the Perry junction, when he crossed the center line and smashed into a tractor driven by 70-year-old George Johnson of Maywood. Wood’s car stopped in the middle of the road and caught fire. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Johnson’s tractor flipped over and wound up on the side of the road. He suffered serious injuries.
