A man from the Bootheel is killed in a Fulton traffic crash. An autopsy on the body of 48 year old Arthur Nunley of Bertrand takes place today (Friday) at the Boone County Medical Examiner’s office. Fulton police say a pickup driven by Nunley ran off Business 54 North Thursday afternoon, crossed a ditch and struck a fence just north of Modern Farm Equipment. The truck was still running and in “drive”. Witnesses say the truck was driving erratically right before it ran off the highway. Nunley had just delivered tractor parts to Modern Farm Equipment right before the accident. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
