Higher Taxes You Decide

Missourians will have plenty of chances to say “yes or no” to higher taxes in April. Americans for Prosperity state director Patrick Werner says nearly 230 hikes are spread out over all but nine counties on the next ballot…”We’re still missing information on that, and we’re confident to say that there is more, but we were surprised to see how many local tax proposals there are on the April 2nd ballot across Missour.”

Werner shared his group’s findings at a Jefferson City press conference yesterday. On “The Eagle Eye Drive at Five,” Werner says the new number should give state lawmakers some pause before voting on a proposed state bond issue or transportation tax.
