A Columbia man is shot in the leg after a home invasion robbery. The victim has been released from the hospital. Boone County Sheriff’s Deputies are still looking for the gunman. At 8 Thursday night, deputies were called to a Columbia home on Sanders Court for “shots fired”. A 26 year old man said he had been shot in the leg by a man who forced open his door and demanded money. Investigators say the shooting was possibly drug related. The gunman is described as a light-skinned black male, wearing blue jeans, white high top shoes, a red 76’ers jacket and a white rag covering his face. CrimeStoppers number is 875-Tips.
