On June 30th, KOMU, the Eagle and Clear 99 sponsored the Central Missouri Honor Flight Call To Action. From 6A to 11P we asked you to call to make a donation, and over $17,000 was raised!! This will help send over 50 WWII vets to visit their own memorial.
To date, Central Missouri Honor Flight has flown more than 520 WWII vets to Washington, D.C. In the last year, we’ve lost 13 of those vets. Your generosity will help us work quickly to finance flights to get the remaining vets to their memorial.
