A crash on Interstate 70 leaves one man dead.
Everett Watson, 62, of Denver was the passenger in a truck traveling eastbound just outside Columbia Saturday when the driver, 58-year-old Linda Watson, apparently lost control, and the vehicle flipped several times on the road and caught fire.
Everett Watson died at an area hospital. Linda Watson had moderate injuries. The accident happened a little after 10:00 a.m. Saturday, and shut down both eastbound lanes of the interstate for hours.
