JCHS Bond Proposal Approved
Jefferson City will stay with one public high school. Voters will decide whether that school has a new facility or not.
Board members Thursday night decided to continue plans for one academy-style high school on a new campus near Saint Mary’s Hospital. A 25-cent tax levy increase, and a 30-cent bond increase, will show up for voters in the district on the April ballot. If passed, the new buildings could open in 2016.
