Jefferson city police say their response to bomb threats walks a fine line. Officers gave the “all-clear” after a Friday night threat at the east side Wal-Mart, but not until a bomb-sniffing dog searched the building. Capt. Bob Cynova says bomb threats trigger a special procedure. Cynova says radio silence is needed so citizens with police scanners don’t enter a potentially dangerous area out of curiosity. Several Wal-Mart’s across the state got similar bomb threats Friday night. No bombs were found and nobody was hurt
