A Jefferson City teacher arrested last year for allegedly having sex with a student is due in court today. Christopher Knehans is scheduled to have a trial hearing in Cole County. He is facing two counts of having sex with a student.
Knehans was a band teacher at Thomas Jefferson Middle School and also an assistant teacher at Jeff City High School. He was placed on administrative leave in September and resigned from his position in March.
