A longtime Boone & Callaway County circuit judge says he’s stepping down. Gene Hamilton, presiding judge of the 13^th Judicial Circuit announces that he’ll retire at the end of June.  He’s last days on the bench as a presiding judge will be in late March.  Hamilton was elected circuit judge in 1982.  He became the presiding judge of Boone and Callaway Counties in 2002.
