About $130 million worth of state highway projects are postponed—and it’s because we don’t have many guarantees about federal funding. Last month Mo-Dot cancelled a bid opening for $60 million worth of road and bridge projects. Now it says it’s also canceled the March bid opening because of concerns about federal funding. The uncertainty out of Washington stems from the highway bill passed last year that contains about a-fourth less funding than the previous highway plan.
