Columbia Police break up a marijuana growing operation. Officers ran into 32-year-old Brenner Dawson outside an apartment on North Eighth Street Friday afternoon. They noticed a marijuana smell once they opened the front door, and could see buds in the living room. Officers arrested Dawson, and ended up finding more than 70 marijuana plants, marijuana-growing equipment, psychedelic mushrooms, and more.
