Boone County deputies raid a rural home as part of a drug investigation.
Detective Tom O’Sullivan says deputies found evidence of meth-making Wednesday morning at the home on Calvin Drive, west of Ashland.
“[We found] What appeared to be old meth labs, as well as an active hydrogen chloride gas generator,” O’Sullivan says. “We also found a number of what we call ‘shake-and-bake’ style labs.”
O’Sullivan says the evidence didn’t seem to indicate a large-scale operation. Deputies arrested a resident, 41-year-old Barbara Graves of Hartsburg, on suspicion of using the meth-making equipment. They gave 62-year-old Sharon Stoll of Hartsburg a summons for a lesser drug paraphernalia charge.
Investigators also expect to make more arrests in case.
