The Missouri Department of Transportation is asking drivers to take it easy this holiday weekend. The agency says all scheduled maintenance has been cancelled and crews will be ready to assist with flash flooding or debris on roads. MoDot says thanks to the rain, slick roads are possible. The department is asking drivers to slow down, give yourself extra time and obey the speed limit as you make your holiday drive.
