There’ll be a new leader for the Boone County Commission come November. Presiding Commissioner Ken Pearson says he won’t file for another 4-year term. The filing period begins in February and Pearson says he wants candidates to have enough time to mount a campaign. Pearson says he wants to spend more family time with his wife…and they want to travel. The 65 year old Pearson was elected in 2006.
