A 23-year-old woman suffered serious leg injuries, after falling while rock climbing last night north of Columbia. Boone county firefighters said they were headed to the scene of the accident on Akeman Bridge Road a little after nine o’clock. The woman, and a man also in his twenties, were climbing without harnesses and fell. The woman went to a Columbia hospital, while the man refused treatment.
