The Associated Press is reporting that Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney says Missouri U-S Senate Candidate Todd Akin should leave the race. The announcement by the candidate adds to the growing chorus of voices urging the congressman to give up his fight against Democrat Claire McCaskill. This after Akin made comments on abortion and rape to a St. Louis television station this past Sunday. Akin has remained defiant in saying he won’t leave the race.
