It appears a new case of salmonella found in Cole County is linked to the outbreak blamed on cantaloupes from southwestern Indiana. But Rachael Hahn with the Cole county health department isn’t jumping to conclusions yet.
Hahn says the investigation continues. The salmonella outbreak has affected 178 people nationwide. 12 cases have been found in Missouri.
