First it was a Vietnam–era grenade reeled in by a fisherman near Springfield. Now it’s a homemade bomb in Sedalia.
Pettis county deputies called in the highway patrol bomb squad after spotting the bomb in a car at a trailer park as they served arrest warrants yesterday (wed). The bomb was found after a deputy saw a gun in a car and searched it.
The suspect was arrested for weapon charges. The highway bomb squad used a robot to grab the bomb and then blew it up.
