This is Sen. Claire McCaskill’s (D-MO) press conference on Wednesday, January 20th – the day after Scott Brown’s (R-MA) election to the US Senate.

Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill, in her weekly press conference for radio reporters, briefly addresses economic matters (including a proposal to raise the national debt limit and a proposal to freeze discretionary spending) before taking questions on the story that everyone is talking about: Republican Scott Brown’s election to the U.S. Senate.

    The republicans are saying No because they do not believe in this type of reform, not because they are being obstinate.

    Any many people have read the bill in its entirety and do not want it.

    Listen to the people.

    After hearing Mccaskill’s comments from her Warrensburg meeting and subsequent comments proves she is breathing the stagnate air inside the beltway.
