Police say, based on evidence and witness statements, 26 year old Nicole Crumby went to the Red Roof Inn Thursday night to sell drugs to 18 year old Blake Logan. Logan is charged with shooting Crumby, possibly in his car. He and his girlfriend, 19 year old Nicole Palmer were stopped about an hour later in Midway when deputies spotted the car. Crumby’s body was found in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn. An autopsy reveals that Crumby died of an apparent gunshot to the head. Hotel video showed a white car speeding away from the hotel and about an hour later was stopped by sheriff’s deputies in Midway. Logan is charged with second degree murder, first degree robbery, and armed criminal action. Palmer is arrested for hindering prosecution, distribution and manufacturing of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
