Six People Arrested In Drug Bust

Six people are in custody after authorities break up a drug distribution ring in Cole and Moniteau counties. Authorities say on Thursday, 32-year-old Eloy Castaneda-Gonzalez, 32-year-old Beroldo Almazan, and 41-year-old Adolfo Hernandez-Almazan, all of California, Mo., and 29-year-old Froylan Pedroza-Guadarrama, 30-year-old Victor Hugo De La Roza-Garza, and 26-year-old Jesus Ricardo-Amaya, all of Columbia, were arrested after an undercover operation at a Jefferson City motel.

Some of the suspects were arrested there and others at a nearby McDonald’s. All of the suspects are facing federal charges of conspiracy to distribute meth and conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
