Columbia police say they had to tased a man they’ve been looking for from a standoff that happened last week. Jacob Nicholson was taken into custody Friday at the Stoney Creek inn off Providence Road. He was wanted on a parole violation warrant. Around 8:30, officers observed Nicholson walking towards a silver Chevrolet Impala. Officers then yelled for Nicholson not to move. He ignored them and started the Chevy. Nicholson was tased and taken into custody.
