A traffic stop led to the recovery of a stolen vehicle, the seizure of illegal drugs, and two arrests.
A Boone County Sheriff’s Deputy pulled the vehicle over on eastbound I-70 near Stadium Blvd. at about 9:00 p.m. Tuesday. It was apparently stolen from the Jefferson City area. The deputy then found cocaine, meth, and more.
The two people in the vehicle when it was pulled over, Nancy McDaniel, 54, and Teresa Whittington, 50, both of Columbia, are under arrest facing several charges.
