Columbia Water and Light says they need your help today and tonight.
The utility says there has been a minor malfunction at a water treatment plant and they are asking you to voluntarily conserve water until 6am Saturday morning. A spokeswoman for the utility says this not an emergency and there should be enough water for everything, but they want to be on the safe side.
To that end, they are asking people to mainly not irrigate. Any other water conservation measures would be helpful as well.
