Two attempted shoplifters at a Columbia Wal-Mart didn’t have much success. Andre Ford, 37, tried to take a jacket and watch from the store on Conley Road at about 9:00 p.m. last night, and assaulted a security guard. He was arrested at the nearby IHOP.
Lorenzo Wright, 32, had another idea. He grabbed a tool kit and some razor blades, then tried to “return” them at the service desk. That didn’t work, so he left. He was arrested at the nearby Breaktime Convenience Store on East Broadway.
